Make room for the experience
A walking introduction and an excursion solve different needs. Choose the pace, language and meeting arrangement that fits the time you actually have.
Find the pace that fits your city time
If you have a short stay, a focused neighborhood walk may fit better than a full-day excursion. If you want context, prioritize the guide’s language and itinerary. If you need flexibility, examine the cancellation terms carefully.
Save the exact meeting point and how to get there from your hotel. Check whether the tour ends at the starting point or somewhere else before planning your next reservation.

Three small details that make the day easier
Keep your confirmation accessible offline. Save the meeting point in Chinese as well as English. Charge your phone and leave time to find the right entrance. Those practical details make the experience easier without filling every hour of your trip.
Before you reserve
- Check the language of the actual departure, not only the booking page.
- Read the meeting point and whether transport or entry is included.
- Check cancellation conditions, availability and any document requirements.
- Read recent reviews on the booking page. Ratings and prices change.
