Two checks, not one
First, can the network reach the service? Second, does the service support use in that country or region? A connection product cannot override the platform’s terms. Mainland China is not on OpenAI’s supported-country list for ChatGPT; consult the current official list before relying on it.
Access, account and content are separate layers
A service can be unreachable on a network, unsupported in a country or unavailable for a particular account. Those are different problems. Read the platform’s own supported-region and account guidance rather than expecting one connectivity product to solve every restriction.
For work or study, export the notes and documents you need in a format you can open offline. Do not make an essential travel task depend on generating a new answer after you arrive.
Build an offline alternative for each essential task
Keep a written itinerary for planning, downloaded files for confirmations and agreed contact details for meeting people. For entertainment, use offline features offered by your subscriptions under their terms. The goal is a trip that still works when your favorite service does not.

*Availability depends on account, identity and card eligibility. Network access does not override a service’s country restrictions. Mainland China differs from Hong Kong and Macau.
Take essential information with you
Export itinerary notes and save translations, booking references and addresses offline. Download entertainment through the options your subscriptions allow before departure. Keep your travel arrangements usable without needing a specific social network or AI service.
