Make room for the experience
The photograph is the easy part. The useful questions are how you get there, how much walking suits your group and how much time you have at the Wall. Read the difference between a transfer, a guided experience and a package with tickets included.
Choose the experience before the headline price
Begin with your group’s preferred walking effort, time on site and need for transport. Then compare whether the package includes entry, a guide and any optional transport at the Wall. A low transfer price and an inclusive guided visit are not equivalent products.
Read whether return transport has a fixed departure and where it leaves from. Confirm what happens if your group needs more time, and choose clothing, footwear and weather preparation for the day’s actual conditions.

Three small details that make the day easier
Keep your confirmation accessible offline. Save the meeting point in Chinese as well as English. Charge your phone and leave time to find the right entrance. Those practical details make the experience easier without filling every hour of your trip.
Before you reserve
- Check the language of the actual departure, not only the booking page.
- Read the meeting point and whether transport or entry is included.
- Check cancellation conditions, availability and any document requirements.
- Read recent reviews on the booking page. Ratings and prices change.
