Make room for the experience
Make this a focused city day. Check what your booking covers before arranging another timed activity.
Give the visit room to tell its story
Choose a visit with a pace that fits your interest in the site. Read the language and duration and confirm whether the listing includes admission. A guide’s meeting point may differ from the place you would enter as an independent visitor.
Use the seller’s current instructions for documents, reservations and arrival time. Keep the final confirmation offline and avoid pairing the visit with another tightly timed reservation before you know the full schedule.
Read the listing in this order
| Your situation | What to look for | Before you commit |
|---|---|---|
| 1 / The experience | What will you actually do, and for how long? | Match the pace to the people traveling. |
| 2 / The logistics | How do you arrive, meet and return? | Check the exact start and finish locations. |
| 3 / The total cost | Which tickets, transfers or extras are included? | Compare the same inclusions across options. |
| 4 / The flexibility | What changes or cancellations are permitted? | Read deadlines in the booking’s stated time zone. |
Three small details that make the day easier
Keep your confirmation accessible offline. Save the meeting point in Chinese as well as English. Charge your phone and leave time to find the right entrance. Those practical details make the experience easier without filling every hour of your trip.
Before you reserve
- Check the language of the actual departure, not only the booking page.
- Read the meeting point and whether transport or entry is included.
- Check cancellation conditions, availability and any document requirements.
- Read recent reviews on the booking page. Ratings and prices change.
