Same plan, two prices

Only plans with identical data and days are lined up. Plans that exist at one provider only are left out of the table.

What the table does not show

Airalo lists China Unicom as its primary network for China and, in its help center, says its China eSIM uses international roaming data routing. Its unlimited plans slow to 1 Mbps after 3 GB per day, according to the plan data. Yesim says speeds may be limited under the network operator’s fair-use policy and that validity starts when the eSIM connects.

Yesim also sells small fixed plans of 1 GB and up for 30 days, which suits a short trip with light use. Airalo’s shortest fixed plans are 3 days.

How to pick

  • Fixed data, short stay: compare the fixed rows first. They are the clearest to read.
  • Unlimited: read the speed rule before the price. The two providers do not throttle the same way.
  • Phone and travel plan: check eSIM support and carrier unlock on your exact model before you buy either one.

Questions before you go

Is Airalo or Yesim better for China?

Neither wins everywhere. Airalo is cheaper on 5 of the 8 plans both sell. Compare the speed rules on unlimited plans and check which one starts validity when it suits you.

Can I use two eSIMs on one trip?

Many phones can hold more than one eSIM, but only one line handles mobile data at a time. Check your model before you rely on a backup.
