Which ticket to pick
General admission lets you into the main park area and the lakes, with hours from 6 am to 7 pm. It does not include the inner gardens and pavilions.
The gardens and museums ticket adds the Dehe Garden, the Tower of Buddhist Incense, Suzhou Street and the Summer Palace Museum, with hours from 6 am to 3 pm.
How redemption works
This is not the official ticket. You receive a QR code and redeem it at the Summer Palace ticket offices on the day, with your passport. Visitors under 7 and over 60 do not need a ticket but must show a passport.
